Ford Motor Co. will be adding 1,200 new jobs to help build the company’s Explorer sport utility vehicle at its South Side production facility.
The cool part for gas savings, is that the new Explorer is an as-yet unannounced new model that is to combine the advantages of SUV capacity with an easier to handle, less thirsty gas mileage profile. So maybe the factory will save you gas!
